Start marking edits
Press Ctrl+Shift+E (Windows) or ⌘⇧E (Mac) in Microsoft Word to switch Track Changes on or off. Every edit you make afterwards is shown in color with a margin mark, so a reviewer can accept or reject each one.
Working through the markup
Word has no default accept/reject key — use the Review tab's Accept and Next buttons, or right-click a change. The toggle shortcut is the one worth memorizing because you reach for it on every shared document.
