Tab management is where the time goes
If you keep dozens of tabs open, three shortcuts pay for themselves daily: reopen last closed tab (⇧⌘T) rescues anything you shut by accident and keeps working back through your recent history; jump to tab by number (⌘1–8) beats clicking; and ⌘9 always jumps to the last tab regardless of count.
Address-bar tricks
Focus the address bar with ⌘L, type a search, then press Alt+Enter (Windows) to open the result in a new tab instead of the current one. Type a site name and hit Ctrl+Enter to wrap it in www. and .com automatically.

Do these work in Edge and Brave?
Almost all of them — Edge, Brave, Vivaldi and Opera are built on Chromium and share Chrome's keymap. A handful of browser-specific features (vertical tabs, workspaces) add their own extra shortcuts.
What's the shortcut to reopen a closed tab?
Ctrl+Shift+T on Windows/Linux, ⇧⌘T on Mac. Press it repeatedly to keep reopening tabs in the reverse order you closed them, even across a restart.
